RSU project will award 4 social entrepreneurship grants, each of them being from 3000 to 5000 EUR. This will involve selecting 4 participants and supporting them with grant , to start a business that will contribute back to the society of their target country and Ukraine.
The grants will be awarded in order to support the development of these small businesses started by Ukrainian refugees in Estonia and Greece, based on following criteria:
(1) Social impact of the business – companies, who intend to employ other refugees or disadvantaged people.
(2) Contribution to the society – tackling a challenge/problem, which is relevant in Estonia / Greece with entrepreneurial tools.
(3) Creative and innovative approach – businesses, which show an innovative aspect in their approach to business challenges and possibilities.
(4) Longevity – it is important that the business would be equipped to provide its services/products for long term.
